Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking a marketing coordinator to support communicating Sedaru’s culture and educating the market about how we can modernize and advance utility operations. About the Opportunity (what you’ll do):

  • Coordinate logistics for marketing activities, including events, webinars, advertising, etc.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness
  • Assist with lead qualification
  • Coordinate RFP response, delivering consistent, high quality proposals
  • Track and manage marketing budget and expenses
  • Coordinate marketing content creation
  • Support creation of user guides and training material as needed
  • Measure and report on campaign progress and effectiveness
  • Manage marketing calendar

Success Metrics (areas of contribution):

  • Create content (case studies, articles, web content, emails, etc)
  • Execute marketing campaigns effectively and efficiently (on time and budget)
  • Improved RFP responses and processes
  • Effectively managed events and tradeshows
  • Support growth of social media following

About You (preferred skills):

  • Attitude and culture fit above all else: we have fun, support each other, and consistently exceed expectations for internal and external customers
  • 2-5 Years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in B2B organization
  • 4-Year degree in marketing, journalism, business, or related
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Great communicator & writer
  • Experience coordinating tradeshows and events
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Eye for details
  • Time management/prioritization
  • Ability to support national team & customers from HQ (San Dimas, CA)
  • Willingness to travel when necessary (less than 20%)
  • Bonus points for experience with:
    • Marketing technology: Salesforce, Mailchimp, Hubspot, Google Analytics, Zoom Webinar, WordPress CMS
    • Digital Advertising: AdWords, Linkedin, Facebook, GDN, etc.
    • SEO
    • Water utility or local government market
    • RFP/Proposal process
    • Graphic design (knowledge of Adobe Suite) and video editing
