Who You Are (Regional Solutions Manager)

You are looking for an opportunity to apply your experience selling enterprise technology to utilities or local governments. In this role, you will work with both prospective and existing customers, presenting and demonstrating the value of Sedaru. You will work with utilities to identify their needs and educate them about how Sedaru offerings can help improve efficiency, analyze data, extend the life of existing systems, connect mobile staff, and more.

You have the ability to problem solve and take a consultative approach to selling. You enjoy ensuring excellent customer relationships and delivering meaningful solutions for decision support to the next-generation utility. What You’ll Do: Duties, Roles, and Opportunities

  • Manage relationships with existing Sedaru customers in your geographic region to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Generate new business from prospective and existing customers
  • Successfully execute the sales process for all opportunities
  • Proactively manage a sales pipeline and generate sales forecasts for your region
  • Meet sales goals for new customers, users, upgrades, and revenue
  • Work with marketing to identify targets for demand generation activities and appropriate follow-up on leads from your region
  • Provide both in person and web-based software demonstrations
  • Act as the liaison between customers and technical services team
  • Effectively utilize and leverage the CRM to manage opportunities
  • Support proposals, deliver occasional conference presentations, participate in local or national industry organizations, and other related business development opportunities
  • Participate in improving company resources and tools to consistently improve efficiencies

What You’ve Done: Preferred Qualifications

  • 10 or more years of sales/business development experience
  • 5 or more years of experience selling enterprise technology to water utilities or local governments
  • S. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
  • Possess many executive level relationships in the water, sewer, and public works industries
  • Strong working knowledge of Esri GIS
  • Strong working knowledge of utility and municipal work/asset management software
  • Familiar with automated metering, SCADA, and other utility enterprise technology
  • Familiar with hydraulic modeling
  • Proficient doing technical software demonstrations
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Proficient with common Windows and iOS business applications
  • Experienced using CRM software for managing sales and forecasting
  • Passionate about new technology, and delivering solutions with and for customers
  • Able to travel regionally up to 50% of the time
  • Located in California or Colorado
