Jinduan Chen, Ph.D. Joins the Sedaru Team, Bringing Additional Hydraulics, Algorithm, and Big Data Expertise
ARCADIA, CA — IDModeling, Inc., the leading global provider of smart water network software and services, is pleased to announce that Jinduan Chen, Ph.D., has joined the growing Sedaru team. The industry’s real-time analytics platform to connect organizational data, systems, and users across the water/wastewater enterprise, Sedaru creates and distributes hydraulic, asset and operational intelligence so utilities can anticipate operations, understand impacts, and solve problems for energy, quality, water resource and asset management initiatives.
Dr. Chen has joined the Sedaru Research & Development group, contributing to the development of industry-leading applications including Smart Modeling™, Smart Outage™, and more. He earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.

Prior to joining the Sedaru team, Dr. Chen contributed to the field of real-time modeling of water distribution systems by developing breakthrough linkages between hydraulic modeling platforms, GIS, and SCADA, enabling rapid visualization and application of real-time data.
